Meet Todd Haight, your H8 inspector
My name is Todd Haight, and I'm the inspector behind H8 Inspections. I was born in Nebraska and moved to Iowa, where my wife and I bought our family home in Indianola, Iowa. We're still raising our five children in that same home—with the same values I was raised with.
Before I started inspecting homes, I spent years in construction. I've seen what's behind the drywall. I know where corners get cut, and I know what good work looks like when it's done right.
I also spent twelve years in the military, including two combat deployments. That part doesn't directly help me check a roof. But the discipline does. When I walk through your house, nothing gets skipped, nothing gets rushed, and nothing gets glossed over because we're running behind schedule.
I'm also a husband and a dad. So when I tell you a home is safe, I mean it the way I'd mean it for my own family. If I wouldn't let them move in, I'm not going to tell you it's fine.
Every inspection I do is written in plain English. No upsell. No agenda. No siding with the agent, the seller, or the deal.
